St. Paul Saints Manager Gives Thoughts During Pro Baseball Tryout

George Tsamis is the manager of the St. Paul Saints (American Association), and I was George’s last bullpen catcher when he played his last season for the Waterbury Spirit in 1998 (Northeast League).  This is a short video clip about an open pro baseball tryout for an independent baseball team, and if you perform for any manager like George – or any other manager who has had MLB experience – they know what to look for in prospective baseball players.

Note that the tryout camp was held in cold weather, so if attending a pro baseball tryout camp in cold weather is your only option get help on adjusting so that you can bring your A-game when your number is called during a tryout.
