The Liberation League was a last-minute makeshift independent pro baseball league which operated in 2020. It played in Indiana, and had its origins because one of the teams (the Dogecoin) was supposed to play in the Pacific Association in 2020 – but that league suspended the season due to California’s COVID regulations.
